I had a very rare opportunity to catch a movie, in a real theater, and not a Disney flick while at the Tempe Marketplace and all I can say is wow I made a great choice.

Tale of the scale
As some of you may know I’ve been hitting the gym 4x per week and as of today I weighed in a 196 down from 232 just a couple of months ago.
On Wednesday I saw the doctor and the blood work came back that my cholesterol was down to 190 from 220 (without any meds) and according to him, whatever I’m doing, I need to keep doing it!
Goal weight 180 and <10% body fat by the end of May.

Hagan’s 5th – Big Girl Party
All our friends from school including her favorite teacher a were on hand for the festivities, the bounce house was bouncing but the pony rides were the big hit! Nana flew in from Orlando and everyone had an amazing time!
Mom did a phenomenal job pulling this all together and the little girl was elated, exhausted and ecstatic for her first real ‘big girl’ party!

Best 30 minutes on television
Ok I have a new favorite TV show, it’s not quite my # 1 favorite show, that honor still goes to CBS’s Big Bang Theory but let’s just say, tied for # 1 is Phineas and Ferb, “whatcha doin”.
This show totally rocks, totally hysterical! Might also have something to do with the fact that Hagan knows all the lyrics to the song below. This a great cartoon written by people that understand that grown ups love cartoons too, lots of adult humor!

Nascar 2009 Sprint Cup Frequencies
There is a huge business in Nascar where fans monitor their favorite drivers and teams while at the race and one of the biggest pains to me is paying a ton of money to rent a race scanner when in reality the frequencies are public domain and if you have a scanner you can program these frequencies in and really enjoy the race experience!
Suggestion, Nascar is LOUD if you are going to try to listen to your scanner at the track, invest in a noise canceling headset, no you don’t have to spend 500 dollars at the Bose store, but a cheap iPod or Walkman headset isn’t going to cut it. Just something to consider.
